In a large bowl, mix together soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and liquid smoke.
Add venison slices to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
Preheat your dehydrator to 160°F (or oven to its lowest setting).
Remove venison from marinade and pat dry with paper towels.
Arrange venison strips in a single layer on dehydrator trays (or wire racks if using an oven), ensuring pieces do not overlap.
Dehydrate for 4-6 hours (or bake for 4-6 hours with the oven door slightly ajar), until jerky is dry but still slightly pliable.
Cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
